The following Terms and Conditions relate to the tours provided by The Antipodes Tour Company, Pty Ltd, ABN 126 333 104, Licence No. 32791, hereinafter referred to as "Antipodes". The payment of a security deposit indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Quotes and Bookings. Quotes provided by Antipodes are valid for 18 months. Quotes are for the entire package and itemised costings will not be provided. Non-refundable deposits of US$2,000 per person are required to secure a booking.

2. Services Included within Tour Price. Antipodes shall provide all meals, accommodation, transfers, and scheduled activities listed within the Itinerary. In addition, Antipodes will also provide services listed under "All Inclusive" on Antipodes brochures and websites. If for any reason a scheduled activity or listed service cannot be provided, Antipodes shall, at its sole discretion, undertake to replace the activity or service with a commensurate alternative. Where this is not possible Antipodes shall arrange a proportional refund. No refunds are made in respect of activities voluntarily not utilised.

3. Travel Insurance. Travel insurance is arranged with AIG Australia, specifically via their TOURSAFE: Non-Resident Plan Code W10. In cases where customers are deemed eligible by AIG for benefits relating to cancellation fees, cancellation fees charged by Antipodes shall not exceed the maximum limit provided within the insurance policy. In all other cases the full cancellation fee shall apply. Guests acknowledge the responsibility to disclose pre-existing injuries or illnesses.

4. Payment. The total tour price must be received by Antipodes no later than 44 days prior to the commencement of the tour. This deadline falls on the Friday, six weeks before the tour begins. Where bookings are made after this time, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

5. Children. As a general rule Antipodes does not accept bookings for persons younger than eighteen years of age. This restriction does not apply for group bookings who will not be sharing the tour experience with other guests. Guests are advised that certain activities on the Itinerary do have minimum age limits. The BridgeClimb, for example, does not permit children younger than 10 to climb.

6. Cancellation Policy. Cancellations prior to the full payment deadline shall result in the loss of the security deposit. Cancellations on or after the full payment deadline shall result in the forfeit of the tour price. This policy shall not apply in cases where organisations are able to replace original participants. In cases where a tour is solely comprised of members of one organisation, that organisation may defer the tour without penalty at any time prior to the commencement of the tour.

7. Tour Confirmation. Tour numbers are restricted to 10 guests at a time for reasons of operational exclusivity, and a minimum number of 6 guests is necessary for business viability reasons. Antipodes reserves the right to cancel a scheduled tour if this minimum number is not achieved. Antipodes will undertake to confirm the conduct of a tour no later than 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour. Guests affected by a tour cancellation for this reason shall receive a complete refund.

8. Liability. Certain activities included on the Itinerary, such as the BridgeClimb, aerobatic activities, and horse riding, are such that the individual operators are required to carry specific public liability coverage. Guests acknowledge there is a degree of risk involved and agree to the terms and conditions governing the provision of each activity. Antipodes is not liable, and accepts no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss incurred by any guest, whether caused by act, omission, or negligence during the conduct of a tour.
